Brought into the world in 1990 to a UK mother and a Maltese father, Alice grew up for the majority of her life in Surrey's Woking - https://www.keeperexchange.org/employer-listing. During this time, she founded the Keeper Educational Exchange Programme (or KEEP), a not-for-profit organisation that enables Zookeepers from across the UK and beyond to learn from each other through visiting other collections. She has spoken about the programme at the ABWAK Symposium and the BIAZA Annual Conference and the organisation is proud to be BIAZA Endorsed and supported by Birdworld, in Surrey.
